There are many sheet metal fabrication shops in Miami. Being in a popular path for severe weather has made the metal roofing industry grow over the past decade in South Florida. While it sounds like a logical business with lots of possibility for growth, it also means there is plenty of competition. So, why would we go through all the trouble of starting our own shop? We both have worked in the roofing and fabrication industry for years, but putting the work experience aside, we had a true desire to connect directly with an audience we believed needed our voice.
You see, everyone has their own voice. Companies carry a tone, a personality that is composed of different characteristics usually driven by the vision set by its founder. While it feels great to be a successful part of someone else’s vision, you sometimes have the urge to develop your own concept in your own tone of voice.
F&D (Felipe & Daylin), is the concept we developed showcasing our work ethic and personalities. We like to work with standard metal products, but we also like the personalized experience of custom orders. There is something special about creating something from just an idea, and seeing it come to life right before your eyes. Many of our clients come to us with projects they believe are not even a possibility, most of them artistic, and it is a thrilling experience to go through all the steps of the creative process with them. This gives us a chance to get very creative and connect with our audience at a different level. Connecting, adding value, and making things happen with a solution-based mind set, that’s what we do.
